Member Reviews and Ratings of Bulleit 12 Year Old Rye Whiskey
This or Knobs Creek are the basis of an old fashioned.
Nice clean tasting rye. Good on it's own or in an old fashion.
Not a huge rye fan but I love this and super in a mixed drink
A great rye, one of my favorites!
Starts off strong and spicy. But with some ice, it mellows out to a delightfully subtle sweet taste that makes it very enjoyable.
Thought that I would like this a bit more.
This is always in my freezer!! Not a day without
It is my “house label”. Great flavor for the price.
Perfect for an Old Fashioned.
Decent rye burbon
Not big on the Ryes but this ones a bit too much for me.
Same great Bulleit flavor... Just smoother!
Excellent whiskey. This is a great go-to when you are looking for something easy to drink at a solid price
Same flavor profile as the usual, but much smoother
It’s decent over ice; the bouquet is fruity and it’s pretty smooth with an ever so slight bite. I wouldn’t say no to buying another bottle.
I strongly disagree with the description of a clean finish- I found it to be quite harsh. Only useful for mixing.
a good rye but 12 years of aging didn’t do much to help it stand out so i dont think it was worth the price. bullits stardard rye is about as are others for half the price
Super harsh, has to be mixed to be able to enjoy. A real cowboy whiskey.
Good with coke, mixers
Rye worth trying, the right mix of taste and price.
Perfectly fine when just wanting a bourbon while multi-tasking...but nothing at all noteworthy about it.
my every day rye
Decent rye but not spectacular
Not a fan of this one. I really like there bourbon as an everyday option but was dissatisfied with this rye.
It’s one of my favorite ryes. Very smooth. I like the spice from the rye but it’s balanced nicely with some sweetness.
Formerly a fave to mix, I refuse to buy it now after the family disinherited their daughter because she’s a lesbian.
Solid rye. Oak tastes fresh. I prefer to mix it rather than sip it neat. I do think there are better options out there at this price point (or lower) such as James Oliver and Whistlepig Piggyback.
One of the best Whiskeys I have tasted. Always have a bottle in my collection.
Smooth with a faint sweet note..love it
Excellent straight rye whiskey. No ice needed in this tasty treat.
Very tasty rye. Flavor spiral is spot on. Will definitely keep a bottle of this on hand from now on.
This is pretty decent as a neat rye, but it's my go-to for a rye Old Fashioned!
Heavy flavor. Rich petty finish.
Like everyone else says, this is the "go-to" rye whiskey. Oakey, sweet and smooth with a tiny bite right at the end which is good for mixing or straight.
My go to rye. Mix with ginger ale and a lime twist.
My go to daily cocktail whiskey. Makes a good Manhattan
Fantastic Everyday Whisky.
I found it interesting but Rye is not my favorite
It's good but you have to be in the mood for it.
I didn't enjoy the Rye Whiskey as much as say Larceny or Buffalo Trace
Not a fan of the rye style
This is my "daily" sipper. Smooth and easy on the wallet.
Smooth and nice.
Very solid, inexpensive standby. Great for making rye whiskey cocktails.
Fairly strong and only useful in a whiskey sour
Absolutely blown away by this. I opened it with no expectations, and then immediately relocated the bottle to my top shelf after taking the first sip!
very tasty like all of the Bulleit varieties.
