Bruichladdich Bere Barley 2010
James,
Fabulous Whiskey. The flavor spiral description is right on point - pear, apple & pear over barley. No peat or smoke and very smooth.
Bruichladdich Black Art Edition 04.1
Timothy,
Truly a smooth tasty wonderful dram
Bruichladdich Black Art 8.1
Terry,
As tasty as it is beautiful. This is the embodiment of what a great scotch should be. From the warm opening to the silky smooth follow through. Would highly recommend.

Seth,
Big, smooth smoke. Oily with a long finish.
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
John,
Love the saltiness of this unseated Islay.
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated
Scott,
Lovely heavy peat. It required a drop or two of water for me in order to open it up a bit more. Nice long finish. I agree with the other comments, unless you are a big peat fan, this is probably not one for you.

Roberto,
Saltie, non-peated, friendly Scotch; I’d think it’s great for beginners, if somewhat diluted

Frank,
I've been wanting to try this scotch for a long, long time, and the wait was worth it.

Phil,
The Classic Laddie, this is a complex one..... I can’t quite isolate this dram on the nose. My best attempt was that this had some vanilla and honey but with more to offer I cannot place. Brown sugar, and a complex balance of flavors such as floral and citrus on the tongue. The warmth and then slight peat (even thou this is a unleaded Islay Single Malt) and herbal. This bottle is highly enjoyable with a price point that doesn’t break your bank. The bottle is expertly balance from the nose to the tongue and finally the finish.

Love the rich briney flavor, with no smoke.

Terryll,
Nice peat and smoke without being overbearing. Very smooth!
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte OLC: 01 2010
Scott,
Absolutely loved this one. The complex flavors kept evolving into a long, lingering finish. Better with every sip. Just the right amount of “peatyness”. I’ll be buying this one again.

Sotirios,
Absolutely amazing. Glorious spirit. Absolutely unbelievable. Did not expect this level of complexity. I think I found my favorite distillery. Update: got through the neck pour, my rating stands. One of my top five whisk(e)y’s

Robert,
One of the best balanced but explosively flavorful
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte OLC: 01 2010
Kris,
Funky on the nose...like a sour beer. And much less peaty than I was expecting. I enjoyed this but not sure I'd get another bottle.
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated
Kris,
Rich, barbecue level smoke on the nose and an absolute peat bomb on the tongue. I highly recommend adding a few drops of water to it to open it up and mellow out the spiciness. If you love peat this is the dram for you, if not, steer clear!
Bruichladdich Octomore 11.1
Mike,
Spectacular. The long, burning finish is where it's at with this one .
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated
Kyle,
love it, smokey, with complexity and cleanness in the malt backbone. This is the PC series on a budget. Some of the best Islay whisky considering its not owned by the big conglomerates. I will always come back to this bottle.
Bruichladdich Octomore 11.3
Thomas,
Some of the finest scotch you will ever drink. Not for the weak. Amazing. Nose of phenols, some fire. Pallet is initially some butterscotch which then turns to a slight burn from the high ABV, but it fades quickly to fruit. It's an amazing scotch. For anyone who enjoys the peated styles, this is a must have if you can get it. The peat and smoke is not overwhelming, even though it is 193ppm.
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated
David,
Heavily peated is an understatement. This is the only bottle I’ve ever thrown away without finishing. Tasted like a swamp. Just not something I can enjoy. Get it if you want something VERY different.

Jake,
perfect balance of peat and sweet. Exactly the price point it should be at. Will be keeping this one in stock as a regular
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
Christopher,
Sweet honey and oaky turns salty and mildly sherry flavored with a pleasant smokiness in the background. If you have it after something sweeter, you can even taste the wine touches from the red wine casks used in it. Finish turns to more fruit and smoke and lasts and lasts . Great complexity for the price
Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2010
guest,
Butterscotch, apple and some malt on the nose, really pleasant! Initially got a vanilla custard on the palate with an oily mouth coating. Finish had some lemon zest, oak and spice. Found this to be unique!
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
guest,
Salty caramel and apple on the nose. Initial taste is apple juice, before a pleasant spice emerges. Finish is a lasting spice and oak. Added water and it brought back the salty brine and apple flavors.
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated
Craig,
Pat and smoke were understated for me. More burn than I prefer as well.
Bruichladdich 1984

It’s an amazing value. Worth far more than its selling price. I could drink this one every day.

Forrest,
Really interesting. One of the more salty drams I’ve had, but finishes spicy
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated
Caitlin,
Great smoke and peat but nuanced enough to taste all underlying flavors
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Scottish Barley
Rick,
Nice Smokey/peat taste but strong on the front. Good one but not as much of my taste, wish it had more smoke/peat flavor. The after taste is a nice smoke/peat flavor.
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated
Aaron,
Aroma full of peat, dark chocolate, some light baking spices, and light notes of iodine, metal, and orange. Taste brought a ton more peat, a little spice, and a little chocolate on the finish that adds a touch of sweetness too. Some oak notes develop with time. Mouthfeel was outstanding...nice and heavy but not oily. Really loved that plus the aroma. What was there in the flavor was great but wish there was something else there flavor-wise to add to it and a bit and break up the peat and chocolate. 7.5/10
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
James,
Absolutely delicious. Salt and straw/grass notes coming through with plenty of perfectly malted barley.
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated
Randall,
Beautiful heavy peat without the heavy smoke or iodine of other scotches. Complex and high proof but not overwhelming. One of my absolute favorites!
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
Tanner,
My go to scotch
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated
Christopher,
Tastes and feels like a chemical attack on the mucosal membranes and epithelial tissue of my mouth and hard palate... but in a good way. A very good way.
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
John,
my favorite sipping scotch. Just ordered 3 more bottles to put away in my stash.
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
Chris,
A very nice balance between drinkable and notable. One of my favorites of the year.

Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
Christopher,
I do not enjoy the peat from Isley Scotch but the Classic Laddie found a way to hide the peat behind the salt and oak. If you tend to shy away from all things Isley, take it from me...this may change your mind. I found a new favorite.
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
Fernando,
I was hooked on this Scotch instantly. The saltiness up front is beautiful and the oak throughout is well-balanced. I highly recommend especially for folks who shy away from smoke and peat.
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte 10 Year Old Heavily Peated
Charles,
I like it. Just enough smoke/peat. Do you ever get Jura 7 Wood?
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
JOSE,
Salt start with strong oak finish. Not a bad dram at all
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
Michael,
I love the un-peated finish
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Scottish Barley
Robert,
Love this and love the bottle and packaging too. This is NOT especially peaty - by design - but there's just enough to complement the other flavors. Very easy to drink. Put it this way ... since trying, I keep thinking, "I cannot wait to have more." 'Nuff said.
Bruichladdich Black Art Edition 07.1
Terry,
WOW! I'll make this simple. Buy this!! You will not be disappointed.
