Top reviews for Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2009:

― I am a true bourbon lover but I just had to try this Scotch. Very peaty but very easy going down. I definitely enjoyed it!

― sounds perfect !

― Love these Islay barleys. Capture the ocean in every bottle. Not as complex or salty as the 2007 (which I loved) but still a very good scotch. Smooth. Smoked meats on the palate. Salted caramel on the finish. Dinner and dessert in one dram.
