Infuse Spirits is aptly named. Seth Benhaim started infusing Spirits in his garage in 2012 at the age of twenty-five — becoming the youngest brand owner to ever win Best-In-Show and Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. He’s our kind of guy. While Infuse Spirits Vodkas and Bitters are infused with natural spices and fruits, their Whiskies are infused with staves from other barrels of a variety of wood types — from Whiskey and Sherry to Wine, Single Malt, and more. They even use exotic woods like Mizunara and French oak.
Seth is a California native, in love with Kentucky. Naturally, a Straight Bourbon Whiskey that’s finished with 80% Central Coast Cabernet barrel staves and 20% French Oak staves was to be born sooner or later. Broken Barrel California Oak Bourbon Whiskey is distilled in Owensboro, Kentucky, with a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley. The charred virgin French oak staves give the Bourbon a distinct character that’s often found in Wine and balance the sweet dark fruit flavors bleeding from the Wine staves. This Gold Medal winner at the 2020 San Fran World Spirits Competition was created to be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
