Rum

Born from literal industrial waste (molasses) and known as “kill-devil” in the 1600s, Rum was bound to be a badass hooch of pirates and sailors.

Now, the majority of Rum is produced in the West Indies, but you’ll find a couple of them coming from the US, Europe, and even Australia.

White Rums are unaged, Gold Rums are usually a blend of old and new Spirits, while the Dark Rums (aficionado favorite) are matured and incredibly refined. Rums are great in Mojitos and Pina Coladas, but give them a chance neat.
