BRAMLEY & GAGE
Distillery
Founded in 1990
In the 1980s, Edward Bramley Kain and his partner Penelope Gage were fruit farmers in South Devon. They began making fruit Liqueurs in their kitchen with any leftover fruits. They were a huge success, and after 10 years, the couple sold their farm and bought a dedicated building with its own bottling line in order to scale up production.
The business moved to Gloucestershire in 2006, and the following year, Edward and Penelope’s son, Michael, and daughter, Felicity, purchased the business from their parents. It was at this point that the company decided to produce 6 O’clock Gin.
While there was already a Sloe Gin Liqueur in the company’s portfolio, Michael and Felicity were keen to create something different. Today, Bramley & Gage produces 17 different Spirits and Liqueurs, all made on the same site. Members of the public can book onto tours to see how – and where – the magic happens.

What does Bramley & Gage taste like?
The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in Bramley & Gage Gin. It's based on all Bramley & Gage drinks in our large database and gives you a chance to taste Bramley & Gage before actually tasting it.
We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.
