Your evening Whiskey.
When a Scotsman moves to the United States, only one thing can happen. The Scotsman starts making a peated American Whiskey. At least this was the case of Alastair Brogan who moved to the States to pursue his dream of making fine Whiskey. Barley, yeast, water, oak, and the pursuit of happiness, he says. Founding a small Colorado Whiskey company, the Boulder Spirits guys have big dreams, even bigger goals, and the biggest pot still in the Cowboy State. Their range includes American Single Malt Whiskeys, Bourbons, and Gins, all made in their unique way that brings new flavors to old traditions.
Boulder Spirits American Single Malt Port Cask Finish brings new and unique flavors to the American Single Malt table. Their core Single Malt Whiskey that’s aged for 3 years in freshly charred American oak gets a finish in European Port butts for 9-12 months. Sure, Port maturation is nothing new, but it is kind of a new thing in the American Whiskey world. The rich Single Malt turns out to be the ideal base for the dark fruit flavors that come from Port. This is essentially an evening Whiskey. Meaning? Savor over good conversation and don’t be afraid to light up a cigar, too.
