— This is incredible! One of my new favorite brands, 117 proof, 75 corn, 21 rye & 4 barley makes an amazing mash bill. The notes come right out and with just a drop of water, it's perfect for sipping. Surprised it's only aged for 6 months, assumed it was 3 years or longer. Cheers, highly recommend!!!
— Just finished my second bottle. This is my new go to. Consistent and sooo enjoyable!!!
— I've been hearing a lot of buzz about this bourbon. I picked a bottle as I am a bourbon enthusiast. The bottle and label look great. It has a cool story behind it and I like that it is a small family operation. Enough of that and let's get down to how it smells, feels and tastes. I was very pleased with the smell of caramel corn on the nose. There is also a hint of dark fruit. It has a wonderful buttery mouth feel and the high rye mash bill is apparent with the nice flavors of cooking spices. There really is a lot going on. I like the subtle vanilla finish and the warm glow I felt all the way down. It leaves legs on the inside of the glass which would indicate more years in the barrel than is stated on the label. This is a bourbon for those who appreciate quality spirits. It is not a proofed down, boring and uneventful dram. Truly not for the faint of heart. This "Boone's Bourbon" is a winner!

Chad,
This whiskey is a lot like a terrible cover band playing a small town dive bar. It's the familiar classic bourbon song you've heard since the 70s but the band thought they could put their stamp on it by amping up the fire and sweetness which just made it louder without improvement. You listen (drink) it because it's there at the time but you know further down the road their is a whiskey that's more original or at least one that does the classics with more refinement
David,
smooth with a kick

Zachary,
Terrible...
Eric,
Boone's is a well rounded everyday bourbon. I've enjoyed it in everything from coke to egg nog to an old fashioned or just sip on the rocks.
guest,
Honestly did not like bourbon until I tried Boone’s. I’d highly recommend to anyone whose a little hesitant about expanding their preferences. This is top notch.
Greg,
This is the most disappointing bottle of whiskey I've ever had. It's not ever really suitable for mixing with coke. Very strong alcohol burn with almost no flavor. I've thought about dumping it out but can't quite bring myself to waste alcohol like that.
guest,
Noticed recently that Fred Minnick promoted this bottle...ordered one and I was extremely impressed. High proof with some spice & definitely a kick. The aftertaste is pleasant, highly recommend. Keeping an eye on this brand...
Glenn,
This guy bites back a little. You know your drinking with Boones, has a spicy tone and a bite that may age out of it as time goes on. Will hold up to a maduro cigar or good for those chilly nights.
Amanda,
Too strong
Justin,
Spicy and strong
Tom,
For the price, disappointing. Decent enough on its own when served with a piece of ice, but otherwise a little harsh. Makes a good Old Fashioned, but there are cheaper alternatives that make a just-as-good OF. Move on.
Nick,
You can tell it's pretty young and it could use a few more years in the barrels. The flavors aren't fully developed and disappear as soon as you find them. At this price point there are dozens of other bottles a person would be better off choosing.
Hank,
This is by far my favorite bourbon. Makes a fantastic mule in the summer and sipping neat in cooler weather. A must have for bourbon lovers!

Liquid gold baby! Sweet, cinnamon-y, and packs a punch! A wonderful bourbon all on its own and you’d definitely need to try it in an old-fashioned. Yum!!
Ryan,
Very strong hit you in the mouth flavor. Needs to be mixed with something and not straight.
Shawn,
This bottle was delicious. Very sweet on the nose. Carmel, spices and vanilla on the front end. Sits directly on the back of your tongue as you chew it. Nice, smooth finish. I highly recommend this if you like McKenna, Elijah Craig, Buffalo Trace type bourbons.
Phillip,
Great flavor.
guest,
Love Boone’s bourbon. Like to sip it slow with a couple of cubes of iceto chill it.
guest,
Smoothest bourbon I have ever tried. Has great flavor.
guest,
Ok not your typical bourbon but Thank God! This was surprisingly smoothe for a high proof bourbon. You can taste the love in this one!
guest,
Amazingly smooth. Best I’ve ever tasted.
William,
This was a pleasant surprise! The sweetness was perfect, and the hints of rye and vanilla were very pleasing. It is a bit young, with a stronger taste of pure alcohol, but adding a few drops of water helped open it up.
Greg,
This was bottle is disappointing. I’ll have to mix it with coke and might just pour it out. The bottle indicates that it was only aged for 6 months. My understanding is that whiskey needs to be aged a minimum of 3 years in order to be called bourbon. How can they sell this as bourbon? I guess that doesn’t get monitored by anyone.
Clayton,
Straight bourbon, yes. If the label just reads Bourbon, then it’s unregulated.
Spencer,
Cinnamon and Carmel nose and taste. 118 proof giving it a little more punch and spice but still on the lighter to medium side pepper taste.
Dave,
As a South Carolinian bourbon drinker, I was amazed at the quality of Boone’s. It had the cinnamon and vanilla sweetness with an almost buttery after bite that was very refreshing. Boone’s makes me proud of SC.
guest,
Love “Homegrown” Boone’s Bourbon. Tyler did an amazing job curating this brand & the Striped Pig Distillery is just incredible. High proof, high corn mash with a taste of rye & barley, perfect.
MJ,
Great brand and taste. Mixes great with a ginger beer. Love the taste on the rocks as well. Definitely try it!
Stephen,
Only bourbon I have tasted that has a paint thinner (solvent) taste. Strong but seems very young, like it needs to stay in barrel longer
Keith,
Terrible all around, nothing on the nose except a faint hint of household cleaning products. On the palate an unpleasant taste of wet newspapers. Undrinkable
James,
Quite pleased with my first full bottle purchase from Flaviar solely based upon customer rates and reviews. Thanks community!
guest,
I was astounded. When I heard it was a barrel strength 117 proof, I had to try it. It is so smoooth and robust with flavor that I convinced my bar and restaurant owner to order it. It mixes so well, I always recommend it now for bourbon cocktails of any kind. I have converted quite a few of my regulars. you deserve to give it a try and a buy!
guest,
Most excellent. I stock it hat home and all my bourbon aficionado friends love it!
Teddy,
It comes off as jarring, the flavors are all over the place and there is the tang of young underage corn throughout.
