Smoky deep amber orange.

Smell / Nose / Aroma
Huge but soft. Vanilla, honey, molasses, orange, tropical fruits, black banana and spice. Meaty aroma and cedar.

Massive and intense. Spicy, sweet - almost liqueur like and hot. Blackberry and burnt sugar. Oak, then dryness (tannin, tobacco).

Hot, long, spicy and intense. Almond, wood, corn, a touch of maple syrup, pepper.

Comment
While it is not necessary to cut the bourbon with water, a splash or two of distilled water is recommended (by Booker Noe) to unlock some of the flavor.

guest,
Great hard hitting bourbon. Enjoy sipping on a good bourbon like this when it’s mighty cold. Will definitely keep a bottle handy during winter. Although probably not year round.

Christina,
Currently have the Backyard BBQ iteration. Smooth, sweet and totally delicious. Can almost taste the ribs fresh from the smoker. Hard to believe it's nearly 130 proof. Highly recommend.

Martin
Martin,
This is very... ‘umami’-ish tasting. The meaty flavour that is introduced is very undefinable. Though I like the strong volume it isn’t a favorite.

David
David,
Love the punch and strong finish. Best sipped when the weather is cold!

Ian
Ian,
For Bourbon Lovers is how I would describe Bookers. The heritage of the private selection by Booker Noe is no joke, he clearly picked a spirit that embodied the best of what a Bourbon could be. Sweet but complex, easy to sip and perfect with a splash of cool water or your favorite rocks/ ice ball version of dilution. A staple of the high(er) shelf for many restaurants, and for good reason!

I get a cinnamon taste that is perfectly spicy. Def do not mix this bourbon as I believe it should stand alone.

Crow,
My “go to Bourbon”. Great vanilla taste. I would drink this if is was alcohol free.

Kevin,
Another nice pour that I enjoy. Just not a fan of the high price. Could be a littler smoother on the finish for a bourbon of that price.
