Booker's Bourbon Small Batch Bourbon
(0.7l, 62.95%)
Another wonderful special edition release from Bookers honoring a loyal employee with a very special dram.
Jim Beam Distillery — the integral part of mega-corp Beam Suntory — is one of the largest Bourbon producers in the world. Seven generations of the Beam Family have worked the stills there since 1795. The Jim Beam Distillery makes an unusually large number of offerings for it’s core Jim Beam line and several brands, including Red Stag, Jacob’s Ghost, and a selection of higher end “small batch” Bourbons — Baker’s, Basil Hayden’s, Knob Creek, and our Bourbon of the day, Booker’s.
Booker's Bourbon Small Batch Bourbon Collection is just what the name implies — limited edition, special releases of exceptional Spirits. This particular release was from the first few months of the year. That’s why its official designation is Booker's Bourbon Small Batch Bourbon Collection 2019-01. they gave it the nickname “Theresa’s Batch.” It has been specially crafted and named after Teresa Wittemer — a thirty-year veteran of the distillery hired by legendary Booker Noe himself.
Booker's Bourbon Small Batch Bourbon Collection 2019-01 was produced across three production dates. And they can even pinpoint the specific warehouse locations where each barrel was located. that’s why they can specify — with great certainty — that this Bourbon is six year, three moths, and one day old.
