Top reviews for Bobby's Schiedam Jenever Dry Gin:

― I was quite surprised by the rich, botanical mouth feel of this gin. In my experience, most heavily botanical gins leave a rather unpleasant aftertaste for me. But with this particular gin, the original rich taste did not lead to an strong (unpleasant for me) botanical aftertaste. When I tried it with tonic, I discovered that there was so much flavor in the gin itself, that you have to be careful what you mix it with. Definitely would stay away from the sweeter tonics. Quite frankly, this has turned out to be one of my favorite "sipping" gins. Almost like a cordial with a good book and a roaring fire. A little on the expensive side, but not overly so. In my estimation Bobby's Schiedam Jenever Dry Gin SHOULD NOT be rated based on whether or not it tastes like other gins. It should be enjoyed for what it is, a unique tasting experience.

― To start, it's not very potent (which I wasn't paying enough attention too), but it makes for a mellow balance of flavors. Everything is there that's on the flavor spiral, and it goes down smooth. It doesn't have that zing that some gins have - but it's not a gin either. I'm kind of torn because it is what it says it is - so it should be scored perfect - but as for my preference of it, that's not there.

― NO NO NO NO NO NO I don’t even know what I could mix this with to get rid of the taste it leaves behind
