A delicious Bourbon that defied the odds and lived to tell the tale — and it’s an unforgettable one!

The blue note is the secret ingredient that adds some serious soulful spice to blues and jazz music. And while we’re talking about all things smooth, let’s say a few words about Blue Note Bourbon. This Tennessee-born spirit is crafted to pay homage to the rich music history of Memphis, and their liquids turn out to be just as velvety as a profound blues melody. B.R. Distilling Company, the oldest distillery in Memphis, mixes up their Whiskey using only the finest Tennessee and Kentucky ingredients, keeping it local, small-batch, and, of course — keeping it real.

Blue Note Uncut Juke Joint is more than just a Bourbon — it’s also a good survivor story. It started with a terrible storm that hit Warehouse 30 in 2019, where thousands of barrels were spilled, leaving the bourbon to sink into the muddy abyss. They thought all was lost, but a few special barrels managed to cling to life. They weathered the elements for four months, enduring scorching heat, pounding rain, and rust-inducing thunderstorms. These barrels have a tale to tell, and it's a limited-edition story you won't want to miss. Unfiltered and made with a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley, it sweeps you away with a yummy wave of coffee, vanilla, candied cherry, chocolate fudge, black pepper, and star anise.

Bourbons have very prominent notes of vanilla, as American White Oak is naturally high in vanillins.

Limestone Branch Distillery, which produces Yellowstone Bourbon, also makes Minor Case Bourbon and Bowling & Burch Gin.

"Remember that iconic poster from World War II showing Rosie the Riveter as a patriotic American woman doing her part for the war effort? Well, hundreds of businesses did their part too, and the Bourbon distillers stepped right up with ‘em.

Distilleries all over Kentucky and Tennessee were re-tooled to distill fuel alcohol and ferment penicillin cultures to treat wounded soldiers."
Sure, Kentucky gets all the press when it comes to Bourbon. And with good reason—nearly 95% of it is produced there. But Bourbon can be made anywhere as long as it's within the United States. Just ask states with budding distilleries like Illinois and New York.
Bourbon was declared "The Official Spirit of America" by an Act of Congress signed by President Lyndon Johnson in 1964.
Straight Bourbon must be matured for at least 2 years. If a bottle has no age statement, it’s at least 4 years old.
