This may very well be the best bourbon I've ever had. Smooth, rich without any bite or harsh aftertaste. Fantastic! Worth the price if you can even find it. I would buy more if I could!
Very friendly. Notes of fruit citrus and caramel on the nose. Not much bite Very easy going down with a caramel and Vanilla taste and some sweet fruit on the back end.
Disappointed it is very smooth like everyone is saying but lacks flavor it’s almost like drinking water definitely not worth the price on here picked it up locally for $95 and that to me was still to much
Very well balanced and easy to drink bourbon. Sweet and smooth. I found it locally for $69 and I would buy it again at that price point. I would not spend over $100.
I'm a little disappointed with Blanton's. It's a good whiskey, don't het me wrong, it's just not as good as others that I have tried that come i at a lower price point. I feel like with this one you are paying extra for the bottle.
I wanted to be really impressed and found it to be just good. Very smooth with a corn flavor. Not sure it was worth the cost of $175. Unique bottle makes for a conversation piece and nice display. But my preferred go to is Jameson Black Barrel.
Similar to my review of Eagle Rare, I don't think this one quite warrants the price it goes for where I live ($90-140 for 750 mL). Has a spiciness that I don't find often in bourbons and a pretty smooth finish. Not my favorite bourbon but nothing I'd ever turn down if I was offered some by a friend.
Really the pinnacle of bourbon for me. Lots of caramel and vanilla in the nose, the delicate burn and warmth and a long finish that evolves with time. All in balance and something to be shared.
I have no words. Just wow.... My local whiskey bar has some and I was lucky enough to have a couple. Super smooth. The honey and caramel just send you over the edge. This is one to savor and I found it gone all too soon.
This is my absolute favorite Bourbon!!! It is what I go to when I want to treat myself. I think it is what a quintessential bourbon should taste like. I compare all other bourbons to this.
Spectacular! This has it all. Sweet, spicey, oaky, with a nice long finish. I have never seen "legs" on bourbon like this. It just coats the inside of the glass and your mouth. At 103 proof, doesn't have that watered down taste. Excelletn neat. Extremely overpriced, but worth it every now and then.
I’m a fan of this mash bill in general, so this is always one of my favs. Great blend of sweet and smooth. The current hype and over pricing has me looking elsewhere currently.
