The first thing people point out is how beautiful this bottle is, but when they try the juice within, that’s all they talk about. It’s complex, sweet, and quite superb with its rich notes of oak and fruit.

Now, it’s pretty tough getting one of these as everyone, and their aunt is nuts about Blanton’s. But here it is, at your fingertips. Don’t wait too long.

What does Blanton's Gold Edition taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Blanton's Gold Edition and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Jim
Jim,
Full of flavor. Rich and deep, and hints of pretentious sounding descriptive words. Maybe caramel and charred oak, but not smoke. Only tried it neat and straight up with a frozen steel whiskey chiller.

Matthew
Matthew,
So smooth. To quote spinal tap it’s Blanton a turned up to 11.

Simon
Simon,
Superb, but rarer than he's teeth.

My go to in Germany. Not available in the U.S. Super smooth, and I gave my last bottle to a good friend on the birth of his first grandchild.

Absolute must have bottle - my standard dram. The whole family of Blanton's is a never go wrong choice. Chasing down a Silver is worth the trip!

Carl,
Blanton’s single barrel, always good. Blanton’s Gold even better. Very smooth with a treasure or rich flavors that please from start to finish.

Paul

BG has an oaky sweetness to it that transfers to the tongue. Smooth finish that does not fall off.

Andrew
Andrew,
Almost like it as much as the straight from the barrel. Pretty close second place in my book. Very flavorful! This one is a little sweet vs the SFTB.

Jesse
Jesse,
The first bourbon I truly loved, Gold is incredibly smooth and flavourful, with a different experience on each part of the palate.

Matthew

Blanton's Single Barrel is a go to. Blanton's Gold is nearly perfect. Strong and unbelievably smooth.

Ray

Probably the smoothest an best tasting bourbon I ever had ...my new all time favorite... thus far

Gabriel
Gabriel,
After a sip or two the heat fades away, and the sweet flavors steal the show. The vanilla, honey, and chocolate are all juuust right -- as none overpower the other. In fact, they only compliment each other as the drink opens up every sip. Top notch bourbon, worth hunting a bottle down!

Ray

Tony
Tony,
Very impressed by this strong bourbon it is smoother than expected. It's more tanner than its stronger brother and not bad straight or with 1 large ice ball. It's in my collection and the bottle is a nice keepsake.
