The Black Ridge Bourbon bottle is shaped like a Wine bottle with a screen-print of Black Mountain in Kentucky. They are Sazerac brand, distilled at their Barton Distillery.
Interestingly, the original makers were Clear Sprint Distilling, but Jim Beam bought them, then Sazerac got the brand via horse-trading. It’s a fairly straight-forward Bourbon.
It does not have an age statement, but since we can taste enough vanilla and butterscotch notes, we think that it likely comes in at about 5YO. it is also 45% ABV, with a smooth taste. It has notes of nutmeg, clove, and light cinnamon notes on the back plate.
