Rejoice with this Blended Premium Whisky.

On the footnote of Montagne Noire in Occitania, France, there lies Black Mountain Whiskey, a Whisky Compagnie that is destined to become the first distillery in the world that is located in a Natural Park. But before that, in the beginning, there was just water. A perfect low-mineral source of exceptionally pure water that has the potential to unlock all of the richness of a Whisky. So thought a group of Spirit lovers that in 2012, started testing what kind of magic this pure source can do to a Whisky. Combining imported whiskies with the groundwater and aging the liquid, a cellar master, blender, and refiner Stephan Mao achieved something magical.

No.2 Premium from Black Mountain is an accessible premium Blended Whisky that is easy to drink and enjoyable. This Blended Whisky was meant to be shared and enjoyed among friends. No.2 Premium is a blend of two young Whiskies, imported from the UK. mThe mix is reduced with water from Mount Noire and aged in Armagnac barrels from Mao Spirits for no less than 6 months. This is a multi-award Whisky that is impressing its drinkers with its freshness and warmth.

Is it spelled Whisky or Whiskey? Maybe you've noticed it before, but let’s just take a wee moment to help you keep your Es in order with this simple rule: There is an E in the word Ireland, so there is also an E in their Whiskey. The rule also holds true for United States, so while there is no E in Scotland, Japan and Canada the same goes for their Whisky. All clear? Good.
The two biggest Whisky producers in Japan and major rivals are Nikka and Suntory.
In the U.S., Irish Whiskey sales have jumped by over 500% since 2002. It’s the fastest growing category in the Spirits industry. There’s some news to raise your glass to.
Danish malted rye didn’t exist before Stauning started making it.
