An American Straight Rye, made for everyone.

Black Feather was founded by three athletes who made a career switch from sports entertainment to the Spirits universe. The guys in question are Jeremy Rawle and Travis Pastrana from the Nitro Circus entertainment franchise and Rob Dyrdek who is famous for hosting and producing several hit TV series like Ridiculousness, Fantasy Factory, and Rob & Big. Now, the three creatives are offering the next American Whiskey: an easy-going, smooth, and approachable dram that doesn’t discriminate and welcomes drinkers of all levels.

Aged in charred white oak casks, Black Feather American Straight Rye Whiskey is a small-batch Spirit that blends together two mash bills. The first one is 95% rye and 5% malted barley, while the other is comprised of 51% rye, 45% corn, and 4% malted barley. Clocking in at 86 proof, the palate releases cinnamon, spice, vanilla, and toffee flavors that we easily see ourselves enjoying every day. Maybe that’s why this smooth dram has already won Silver at San Francisco World Spirits Competition and 89 points from the 2020 Ultimate Spirits Competition.

George Washington famously loved his Rye Whiskey. In fact, after he served as the first president of the United States, he returned to his farm at Mount Vernon and started a small Rye distillery of his own.
Rye sparked the first revolution after the American Independence. It was called the Whiskey Rebellion, and it arose when the government tried to tax Whiskey and enforce the taxation on distillers. The lesson here? Don't mess with a Whiskey drinker's dram.
A decade ago there were only 6 brands of Rye Whiskey hailing from Kentucky, nowadays there are more than 50!
Rye - think of it as Bourbon's edgier cousin. It’s known for what many call a spicy or fruity flavor. Rye (distilled from at least 51% Rye) is not on the sweet side and tends to have a spicier body. That’s why the character of a cocktail made from Rye, instead of Bourbon, is drier.
