Listen up folks, Bird Dog Flavored Whiskeys are the real deal! They don’t mess around with no fake bourbon or watered-down Spirits. Their Bourbon comes straight from the country known for horse racing, moonshine and fried chicken—Kentucky! Let’s go back to 2010 when the Whiskey flavored saga began. Bird Dog decided to go rogue and created flavored Whiskey like no other. They agreed that a sturdy base of a proper barrel-aged Bourbon at a higher proof is an absolute must to create a noteworthy flavored Spirit. Together with their imagination and ingenuity, they now serve more than 15 flavored variations, including Praline, Peanut Butter, Salted Caramel and Blackberry, to name a few.

In fact, Blackberry is a true pioneer in the flavored category, as it is the first Spirit that shaped Bird Dog’s colorful history a decade ago, and it is still flourishing today! Clocking in at 40% ABV, this Spirit showcases sun-ripened blackberries that give it an irresistible aroma, followed by smooth bramble jelly flavors, gracefully accompanied by solid Bourbon notes. Its unique flavor has won many tasting competitions in the USA, including the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Sip Awards, and Los Angeles International Spirits Competition. You can try whipping up a lemonade with a twist, including Bird Dog Blackberry Flavored Whiskey, or have a go at any other delicious recipe at Bird Dog’s website.

Rye Whiskey is made from mash that is at least 51 percent rye. The grain gives Rye Whiskey its spicy, sometimes peppery, and bitter flavor. It was a big seller before Prohibition, and after decades in obscurity, it’s fashionable again. Fun fact: George Washington distilled Rye Whiskey at Mount Vernon.
An un-aged American Whisky is often called “white dog.”Sour Mash is the fermentation process by which a percentage of a previous fermentation is added to a new batch as a "starter" to get the fermentation going and maintain a level of consistency from batch to batch. A sweet mash means that only fresh yeast is added to a new batch to start fermentation.
George Washington was a man of many talents being both a military braniac and the First President of the United States. Interestingly, he also became the largest Whiskey producer in the United States after leaving the politics.

Moonshine Whiskey is distilled from a varied mix of corn and sugar and is aged in Mason jars and jugs for the length of time it takes the customers to get home.
Bourbon rules refer to manufacturing methods rather than location. Bourbon must be matured in new and charred American white oak casks for at least 2 years. If the bottle has no age statement, the Bourbon is at least 4 years old. No coloring or flavoring of any type is allowed, and the mash bill must contain at least 51% corn.
