A blend of 100% malted barley Spirits aged in oak with a profile of roasted nuts and vanilla.

North of Mount Fuji in the Yamanashi Prefecture is the town of Nirasaki. There, at the edge of a forest on the banks of the Midaigawa River sits the Nirasaki Midaigawa Distillery. Here they do use in-house made and sourced Spirits for San Foods of Japan. San Foods has developed a variety of Wines and Spirits that until recently have only been available in Japan.

Japanese is such an interesting and beautiful language. For example, the word “Bikoku” means “beautiful grain.” That’s a wonderful, even poetic word to name a Whisky, don’t you think? Bikoku Japanese Pure Malt Whisky is a blend of Whiskies made form 100% malted barley aged in white oak.
