Nice smooth. Great flavor
Very weak almost non existent taste up front peat on the finish
Not a fan
Smooth sweet and very easy to drink. Very good value at $45
Love this one...personal favorite
sharp finish, smokey and almost a peat finish
Easy drinking bourbon. Heavy alcohol on the nose but surprisingly mild flavor. Soft vanilla with a hint of cherry and a slight oaky finish. Does not taste like it smells.
I enjoyed my first taste of this bourbon. i have been wanting to buy it for a while (mainly because i like the bottle). the ginger caramel note is the easiest to pick out right off the bat. if you like ginger this is the bottle for you.
It has a nice flavor and finishes clean'ish. I was hoping for more because I like the look of the bottle. Also, side note dont store it sideways or upside down. My last 2 bottles were gifts and they both leaked a bit through the cork.
Enjoying the smoky beginning and sweet finish.
Somewhat overpriced for the delivery of taste. Very flavorful but does not have the extended burn with other comparable bourbons.
Very smooth even for a new bourbon drinker. Strong flavor of cinnamon with a finish of vanilla.
A fabulous and very smooth bourbon. A holiday favorite for Manhattans - or neat.
This is smooth with a hint of maple with not too much alcohol at the finish. One if my favorites.
Smooth with a little pleasant kick
This is one of my favorite go-to bourbons that I always like to have around. Smooth, a bit of butterscotch, and just very easy to drink.
Smells like oak, charred, cinnamon. After the first taste, picked up the smell of chocolate/sweet. Good mouth feel.
Enjoyable notes of malted barley, caramel, and vanilla. For me, however, the charred flavors are a bit too strong.
Love the taste when I’m smoking a cigar out by the fire pit!
Not a fan of the after taste. Ginger and cinnamon not doing it for me
Vanilla flavor really comes through for me giving it a distinctly different character than most other whiskeys in my home bar. Very smooth and very good for its age and price.
Great sipping bourbon
My fiance recently bought this for me as a gift and man do I love it. Very smooth with an almost sweet flavor to it.
Definitely one of my favorites. So many intense flavors in one bottle.
One of my favorite bourbons right now. It’s smooth all the way with just a bit of warmth on the backend.
I love this Bourbon! Very nice, sweeter, smoother notes.
My 2nd favorite bourbon in this price range, it has a stronger aftertaste and a real punch of flavor!
Smokey with hints of caramel.
I’m the nose there is a woody caramel smell. When you taste it you first get hit with a spicy charred taste followed by a sweet (caramel / vanilla) woody taste.
There is a bit of a bite but it’s growing on me. It’s good on the rocks one the ice melts a bit.
Enjoyed sipping this one neat. Plenty of nose and flavor, but very smooth!
Punch on the nose with the charred characteristics, but amazing flavor. Ended up buying a bottle after the tasting.
Not too sweet, strong caramel and vanilla notes with a smoky aroma throughout. Finish turns from complex and pleasant to bitter. Would not buy at this price point.
Great smell, enjoyable sipper
Very smooth, sweat, and has a velvety mouthfeel
Very good. Caramel and Vanilla finish. Truly a Small batch bourbon worth your time.
Wow, I cant believe I waited so long. I should have tried this earlier. It’s a great stand alone whiskey. Don’t be fooled by the California info. It’s a classic bourbon/whiskey!
Smooth, interesting flavor with vanilla and some smokiness
Cinnamon and barley up front with nice complexity on the finish. Easy drinking with just a hint of bite. On the rocks opens up some of the spiciness and oakiness and brings out some ginger.
Hands down my favorite right now. Saw it was had a 96 rating. Loved it. Just ordered my second bottle through Flaviar. Definitely can taste the cinnamon and has a nice slightly sweet flavor.
Strong flavors of spice and fruits in taste with slight burn towards the end!
One of my new favorites. So many flavors and just the right amount of burn!
A new go to, this is a very smooth very balanced bourbon. Easily in my top 3 bourbons with Blanton’s and EH Taylor
goes great in an old fashioned
This is probably my favorite bourbon right now. I think it leans more towards a butterscotch flavor than the caramel we are accustomed to with bourbons, and it has a smooth finish. I think it is the best dollar for dollar value on the market.
My Favorite Bourbon! Hints of fruit, vanilla, caramel and spice. Very Smooth!
Sweet, nutty flavor, smooth finish. Exactly how I like my bourbon
Taste bare too full of happiness to decipher everything with this great Bourbon
It is an outstanding, rich, Tennessee sour mash bourbon that has a sweet birth with notes of fruit, oak, chocolate, vanilla, caramel & spice; while a bakers life adds notes of yeast, cookie dough, dried apricot, ginger, cinnamon, charred oak & malted barley; that leads to a long & complex death with hints of corn & chestnuts.
First thing to come to mind is yummy!
You can definitely taste the spicy cinnamon notes. This is good sippin loveliness by a fire on a cold night....
