Golden caramel.

Corn and caramel, some nuttiness.

Steven
Steven,
Nothing to write home about, but enjoyable enough. I don't regret the purchase, but I won't seek it out again.

Russell
Russell,
Very good. Nothing remarkable, but very easy to drink.

Robert
Robert,
Smooth and rather under-stated (whelming?). This one sits easy as a light sippin' bourbon when you just want a clean dram of something. No harsh edge.

Peter
Peter,
Very enjoyable.

Danielle
Danielle,
Not a bad bourbon, but I found I smell more flavors than I actually taste. I have not tried it in a cocktail but could see how this might be a great base for a Manhattan or something similar.

Devin
Devin,
Pale amber color, with thin to medium thick and slow tears. The nose has hints of caramel, honey and cinnamon with floral notes. The taste has very brief hints of caramel and toffee up front that give way quickly to a harsher, more astringent flavor. The mouthfeel is a bit abrasive and unpleasant. The finish is long with spicy and oaky notes, like red hots with wood.

Ian,
I got this on the idea that it was close to Bulleit 10 year old. It is a far cry from any bulleit product. To me this has all the hallmark tastes of anverage bourbon. It doesn't taste great. It's perfect for making cocktails where all you need is bourbon flavor. If you going to make a bourbon heavy drink or look for something to sip reach for a different bottle.

Ruth
Ruth,
Might be my favourite bourbon of all time. I love blantons and other smooth bourbons with a punch and this one is awesome. It is also great for people who may not love whiskeys that much. Very tasty, not a burner. Would recommend.
