Bender’s Whiskey is, technically, Canadian. Christopher Cohen and Carl Bender, the duo behind Bender's, source the Whiskey from Canadian Highwood Distillers (and a few others) and then have it shipped to their facility on the Treasure Island in the San Francisco Bay. That's where they set on the grueling task of finishing, tasting, blending, and tasting some more until 100% happy with the result.
The mash bill tends to vary by batch, and each batch has a different total maturation too, but they have all been aged for seven years or longer. With every batch they're releasing, they're looking for the grain to come through, while bringing forward their signature fruit notes.
