The flavor of Bell's is a story of the different Whiskies blended to make it. And there are a lot of them. Currently, 40 single malts and grain Whiskies. But five single malt distilleries make up the majority of their content by volume and flavor profile.
The largest piece of the puzzle comes from Blair Athol Distillery in the heart of the Highlands and provides flavors of nut and baking spice. Inchgower in Speyside brings roasted nuts and a light saltiness. Dufftown adds a classic Spey fruitiness with apple and floral aroma. Glenkinchie in the Lowlands brings peaches and toffee.
