A small batch delicacy entirely from New York State.

Founded in 2014, Denning’s Point Distillery is an award-winning craft distillery that brings you the historic Spirits of the Hudson Valley – at least what they’d look like today. A modern interpretation, if you will. With over 25 years of (local) distilling experience, their Bourbon, Vodkas, Brandy, and Gin are all products of grains and fruit that come from local family farms within 50 miles.

Beacon Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey is a very carefully hand-crafted Bourbon that’s made from New York State grains. It’s matured for 4 years in premium charred white oak barrels before they bottle this small-batch dram at a round 100 proof. Expect vanilla, oaky spice, cinnamon, maple, and dark fruit flavors that shine the brightest when sipped neat but won’t disappoint in a high-end cocktail, either.

"Remember that iconic poster from World War II showing Rosie the Riveter as a patriotic American woman doing her part for the war effort? Well, hundreds of businesses did their part too, and the Bourbon distillers stepped right up with ‘em.

Distilleries all over Kentucky and Tennessee were re-tooled to distill fuel alcohol and ferment penicillin cultures to treat wounded soldiers."

J.B.'s father, Joseph W. Dant, invented a still made from a poplar log at 16, as he couldn't afford a copper still. Although crude, it worked exceptionally well!

Straight Bourbon must be matured for at least 2 years. If a bottle has no age statement, it’s at least 4 years old.
Bourbon rules refer to manufacturing methods rather than location. Bourbon must be matured in new and charred American white oak casks for at least 2 years. If the bottle has no age statement, the Bourbon is at least 4 years old. No coloring or flavoring of any type is allowed, and the mash bill must contain at least 51% corn.

Pinhooking means purchasing and rearing a foal based on its pedigree and either selling it or turning it into a champ racing horse. The same idea is behind Pinhook Bourbon: they source young Whiskey to mature and blend it into a blue-ribbon sipping Bourbon.
