Chris
Chris,
Inoffensive but boring. Plenty better alternatives at a lower price point. Pikesville is still king of the under $100 rye market, no contest here.

Chaz
Chaz,
My favorite rye whiskey hands down! I tend to find ryes too bold for my taste, but this is very smooth throughout.

John,
Smooth and complex. Nice spice but not overwhelming.

Billy
Billy,
I love basil Hayden but I’m not normally a big fan of rye but my wife bought this for me and I will say it is one of the best whiskey’s I’ve ever had it’s extremely smooth and has a great flavor it’s not an overwhelming taste of rye which I prefer.

Outstanding!

Tate
Tate,
Excellent. My favorite rye to date. Incredible toffee, tobacco, vanilla, pepper, allspice, and undercurrents of cinnamon. This is a straight neat pour for me. Consider doing a blind pour v. two other spicy drams. Makes for a great way to cap a long day’s night.

Ryan
Ryan,
A good rye whiskey with less of a rye punch than other similar 10 year bottles such as WhistlePig Rye. Great to sip on over a few ice cubes.

Jason
Jason,
Very subtle and smooth even straight. Good vanilla and caramel up front with a hint of tobacco or leather at the back. Really enjoyable rye.
