1.

Balcones

Texas Single Malt Single Barrel Flaviar Member Select

Discover why we’ve selected this exact barrel just for you. You just have to love the charming, independent, and rebellious spirit of Texas. Balcones Distilling is based in Waco — just about half way between Dallas and Austin. Texas is a big state, and they like everything big… big steaks, big trucks, big hats, and big flavors. Balcones is still a small distillery (thank goodness!), but it is filled with big ideas. They hand-make a range of Whiskies, Rums, and mysterious fiddly things, all of which are unabashedly crafted with the big flavors they love. But just because these Texas Spirits stand up and yell "Yeee-Haw!" doesn’t mean they they don’t have all the serious craftsmanship and quality you get in the big city or the fancy-dancy capitals of Europe. These Spirits are top notch, and they have the awards to prove it. Balcones Texas Single Malt Single Barrel Flaviar Member Select is the embodiment of the Balcones philosophy: everything from the grains to the barrels is chosen with great attention and every resulting sip is booming with character. The base is Texas “1” Single Malt, Balcones’ most awarded bottle — by the by, also the first American Whisky to win the UK’s bling Best in Glass Competition. Texas “1” Single Malt is aged in a combo of new and used American, French, and Hungarian Oak, and the selection for this expression came from a new American oak barrel. That’s because we love the silky, full-bodied flavors of lightly toasted bread with fresh butter and marmalade that this barrel brings. And we think you’ll probably love it, too.

Stellum Spirits

Stellum Single Barrel Bourbon Lyra W1 Flaviar Member Select

A banging Single Barrel exclusively for our lovely community. It takes a special kind of skillset to master the art of blending and sourcing the best premium Spirits around the world and the folk at Barrel Craft Spirits certainly seem to have it. Rossville Union

Single Barrel Flaviar Community

From the world capital of Rye to Flaviar Community, with love. George Ross founded Rossville Distillery in 1847. Aside from a brief switch to industrial production during Prohibition, it has been producing fine Spirits continuously since then. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions it has been owned by Seagram’s, Pernod Ricard, and others over the years. But since 2011 it has been the flagship of MGP — one of the largest producers of Whiskey, Gin, and other Spirits. MGP is one of America's last Prohibition-era distilleries that has been producing bold Ryes since 1847 – making Indiana the Rye capital of the world. The Rossville Union line of Rye Whiskeys is bringing back the golden age of Rye; it's a ryenaissance, if you will. As you might have guessed from the name, Rossville Union Single Barrel Flaviar Community is a special Flaviar Community affair. With a mash bill of 51% rye and 49% barley malt, barrel No. 504 was aged in oak casks and bottled at a respectful 113.5 proof. Expect to be swept off your feet by flavors of malt, caramel, vanilla, and char.

Widow Jane

10 Year Old Flaviar Member Select

This well-aged Bourbon is kind of a big deal — and nobody but you gets to taste it! Widow Jane is a Spirit-lovin’ booze-makin’ Brooklynite. The distillery carries the name of a nearby Rosendale mine that’s the source of crystal-clean agua that comprises the DNA of every Jane’s Spirit – and back in the day, the limestone that came out of that place built the Empire State Building and the Brooklyn Bridge. The water isn’t the only thing sourced locally – all the grains come from the nearby farms. Eco-friendly booze, baby! There literally wouldn’t be Widow Jane 10 Year Old Flaviar Member Select without you guys. Yep, all of you. But especially the ten lucky Flaviar Members who got to create this tailored blend of Widow Jane 10 together with Head Distiller Lisa Wicker. Inspired by Widow Jane’s signature five-barrel-blend of Bourbons, you guys personally picked the finest 5 barrels of Bourbons that were aged at least ten years.  Lisa then prepared the blend for bottling and cut the Whiskey with their proprietary limestone mineral water that’s sourced only 99 miles north of the Brooklyn distillery. The result is a truly special single batch Whiskey that only a select few will EVER get to taste. Fortunately, that includes you! You decided this well-aged Bourbon should be intense and complex with flavors of orange, maple, cherry, and almond — and you know what? It was a good call.
