Bardstown Bourbon "Discovery Series" #3
Richard,
Bardstown is quickly becoming my favorite distillery. This is even better than Discovery Series #2. So much going on here, vanilla sweet hits first but baking spices follow close behind. The oak finish lingers for days. I haven't had too many better bourbons than this.

Niket,
Amazing and complex! Never thought blending could result in such a fine art. I would say this is easily on the same level as the hard to find stuff such as BTAC if not better....Best part is that this is findable unlike the BTAC and Pappy. Give this a shot if you are skeptical in spending the money. You will not be disappointed.

Brendan,
The Fusion series on steroids. Fruity, toffee, and earthy notes are bold and the back end has the perfect hit of heat. Bardstown is doing some great things. Can’t wait for more series.

Brendan,
Sweet tea, apples, and oak. One of the smoothest bourbons for the price tag. A real gem.
Bardstown Bourbon "Discovery Series" #2
John,
Amazing "finish", the various flavors are quite distinct!
Bardstown Bourbon "Discovery Series" #2
Matthew,
I'll say all that needs to be said. This is well worth the asking price. 10/10 would buy again.
Bardstown Bourbon "Discovery Series" #2
Ryan,
Neat all day. Carries some heat, but has such smooth finish that you almost don’t notice. Not sure I can go with another bourbon.

Matthew,
Another easy 10/10 from Bardstown. Don't let the fact that most of their bourbons are sourced and blended dissuade you - this is expert craftsmanship. This bourbon is high proof and somehow still incredibly smooth. The nose is rich with oak, chocolate and orange. The palate is smooth with baking spices, light citrus and more bold barrel flavors. Bardstown never ceases to deliver.
Bardstown The Prisoner
Matthew,
One of my favorite bourbons of all time. I was fortunate enough to get a couple bottles of this, but now it's mostly gone for good. Very unfortunate. Rich oak and wine on the nose and the palate, but nothing is overwhelming or out of balance. A testament to the blending and finishing expertise of Bardstown Bourbon Co. This distiller/blender is still the best kept secret in the world of bourbon.

Bret,
Love Bardstown! This is my 1st taste of the Fusion Series. Love the Discovery Series. The Fusion doesn't have the depth of flaviors the Discovery has, but still very good. Typical maple, brown sugar, vanilla, with a nice semi spicey finish. This is a nice everyday drinker.

Devlin,
Weak at this price point, no complexity, I prefer fusion at $60

Scott,
Love it. It almost tastes like its finished in a wine barrel. I love the sweetness, the cherries, almost like a shortbread cookie.

Paul,
Thought it was pretty good overall. Heard a lot about the Bardstown line so gave it a try.

Aron,
Definitely enjoyed this. Smooth and mellow but a big flavor profile.

Lee,
Our group did an awesome tasting event with Samantha Montgomery from Bardstown Bourbon. I loved learning about how Bardstown selects these blends, which is basically a competition to have all of their employees come up with blends and vote for the best one. Every Bardstown product we tasted was delicious, but this was one of my favorites.

Lee,
Great product! This would be an excellent daily drinker!!

Richard,
Leans heavily into the sweet side. Oak is there but you have to work to find it. Taste makes me think of toasted marshmallows. Really, really smooth finish also. It might be expensive but it's really good.

Kent,
This is one of the smoothest bourbons I ever have had. Whether neat or with a cube, amazing. Sweeter than most, but not too much with a velvet finish!
Bardstown Bourbon "Discovery Series" #1
Mark,
High notes of Carmel come together with pleasant light and spicy finish.

Mark,
Great! Not for those who want a lighter bourbon - this packs a punch with orange zest backed by a distinctive oak flavor that hangs on. I served this neat at 58F from the cellar. Really interesting how the flavor changes as it warms a bit.
Bardstown The Prisoner
Mark,
This is by far the best bourbon I have ever tasted....

Shaun,
Surpasses the flavor of Discovery #1 in almost every way. This product is a masterclass on how blending can make an incredible drink. If you get a chance go by their facility. Great bar, fun people, and almost everything of their is amazing. It's also pretty unbelievable how many people are sourcing from them after just a few years.

Thomas,
Delicious. Very good.
Bardstown Bourbon "Phifer Pavitt Reserve"
guest,
Over the top with a seamless blend from two different worlds. Wet Cab Sauv barrels finishing a mature Tennessee bourbon. Don’t ask...just drink.
Bardstown Bourbon "Discovery Series" #1
guest,
Has a ton of appeal to those seeking barrel proof bourbon with tons of complexity. Dried fruits, caramel, candy corn, brown spice... it just keeps going and going.

Bret,
Love this! A little bit of sweet vanilla and caramel up front, but then that 12 year old takes over with a lot of oaky, spicey goodness. Love the long finish as well. Very smooth for a cask strength. Worth a try!

Montie,
Awesome bourbon. I am glad I tried it. It is very smooth for a cask strength bourbon.

Christopher,
Sweet and really spicy. A bit pricey really, but an aged and interesting bourbon.

Ben,
One of my favorite finished bourbons. Amazing nose and finish. Take a few drinks then add a splash of water or ice and it's completely different. Definitely worth checking out and feels like a new experience every time I drink it
Bardstown Bourbon "Phifer Pavitt Reserve"
Matthew,
This is a fantastic bourbon. The time spent in the wine barrels gives it a fantastic nose and finish. Because it's barrel-strength, it's a bit on the hot side. Cutting it with a splash of water REALLY opens it up and brings out the complex bourbon and wine barrel flavors.

Steve,
This was a great surprise over the holidays. Definitely worth the admission price
