With each new Fusion release, time gives birth to a new flavor, and the result is a transformation that's worth savoring.

The founders of Bardstown Bourbon Company really stood on the edge of a 100-acre farm site in Bardstown, Kentucky, and thought: “Well, go big or go home.” And it looks like that big-shot mentality paid off as their remarkable facility quickly became one of the largest and most innovative distilleries in the world. So, if we translate that into numbers — the distillery produces 7 million gallons of Spirit and 110,000 barrels per year. Sheesh. Founded in 2013, with production hitting full stride in 2015, they are the central production for dozens of famous brands — including Jefferson’s, High West, James E. Pepper, and many more.

Their Fusion Series is about the marriage of youthful vigor and seasoned wisdom. They take their own youngsters and mellow them with meticulously chosen, supremely aged Bourbon, resulting in a harmonious blend that perfectly complements their recipes.

As the hands of time keep ticking, their Bourbon grows older. And with each new Fusion release, you can savor the transformation.

This Bardstown Bourbon "Fusion" Series #8 Straight Bourbon Whiskey features two lively, 4-year-old high-rye Kentucky Bourbons teaming up with a bold 12-year-old Kentucky expression. You've got juicy apricot, refreshing mint, and a hint of green tea, all playing nice with layers of ooey-gooey caramel and sweet honey, hugging baked apples like a warm embrace. The smooth, velvety texture adds some serious sizzle and spice to make this Fusion blend a standout star in its own right.

Sure, Kentucky gets all the press when it comes to Bourbon. And with good reason—nearly 95% of it is produced there. But Bourbon can be made anywhere as long as it's within the United States. Just ask states with budding distilleries like Illinois and New York.
Bourbons have very prominent notes of vanilla, as American White Oak is naturally high in vanillins.
Bourbon must be made from a grain mixture that is at least 51% corn.

Limestone Branch Distillery, which produces Yellowstone Bourbon, also makes Minor Case Bourbon and Bowling & Burch Gin.

Bourbon matures quicker than Scotch due to higher temperatures in American warehouses.
Bourbon rules refer to manufacturing methods rather than location. Bourbon must be matured in new and charred American white oak casks for at least 2 years. If the bottle has no age statement, the Bourbon is at least 4 years old. No coloring or flavoring of any type is allowed, and the mash bill must contain at least 51% corn.
