Top reviews for Barbancourt 15 Estate Reserve Rhum:

— Absolutely love it. This is my favorite rum, excuse me, rhum, in all the four kingdoms.

— The Best Rhum must be taken straight in chiller glass with a Cohiba

— Smooth, one of the best ever. Drinkable straight, on the rocks or mixed, but I wouldn’t really mix it , as it kills the flavors.

Bill
Bill,
Smooth and a bit astringent, offers a nice balance of bite versus flavor. Leaves a pleasant after taste and pairs perfectly with a good cigar.

Corey,
Not enough flavor outside of the realm of sugar but a nice smooth rum none the less.

Joshua
Joshua,
This was a sweet rum to me. Very flavorful, just not my favorite. The Butterscotch and Honey flavors were noticeable, as well as the Roasted notes. What really stood out for me was the Candied flavor, which honestly was off putting in my taste. If spiced dark rum is your thing, this probably is not the one for you. If smooth, sweet, caramel rum is what you are looking for, look no further.

Christopher
Christopher,
For me, this is much like a good scotch: with a hint of water (or melting ice) it gets smooth; otherwise, not as smooth as say Diplomatico or Kirk and Sweeney 18 YR Old when neat.
