Aaron
Aaron,
This was an interesting dram. Nose of warm spices, floral honey, creme brulee. Taste consisted of more honey, some general sweetness, and a nice light spice before a little oak. None of this was particularly complex or overly robust...but found it very enjoyable regardless. Just tasted like a good ol' non-peated scotch. 6.5/10

ERIC,
Vanilla and caramel on the nose, some oak, nice finish. Great dram on its own.

Calm and spicy flavor. Easy drink for a beginner (like me).

Smokey Oaky Long burn, in a good way, but not that many flavors

Andrew
Andrew,
Vanilla dominates the nose. The aging in sherry oak is readily apparent- it is smooth and quite sweet. The finish is crisp- I would’ve preferred a longer finish with more spice notes

Lawrence
Lawrence,
Nutty spices is bourbon. Slight spice note on the finish

Excellent “go-to” whiskey, especially if you are new to the scotch scene. Very easy to drink, and fairly complex for a younger dram. Buy it!

guest,
I have tried many many Scotch's and I find that my favorites are Balvenie 12 year and Macallan 12 year. My everyday Scotch is Johnny Walker Black. If you enjoy a good Sherry finish in your Scotch, you can't beat these!
