Christopher
Christopher,
Pretty good but wish the fig and honey flavors were more pronounced. It primarily tastes like an average whiskey. Not bad but not exceptional.

Mark
Mark,
Loved this! Very different, not quite a rum, not quite a whiskey. I didn't find it too sweet. Best of both worlds!

Gary
Gary,
This is my second bottle. Sweet taste thru out, along with a semi smooth finish and small bite. ABV is perfect for my taste. I will continue to keep a bottle on hand. If you like old #7, this is worth a try.

Tejal
Tejal,
Great, full-bodied flavor

Gary
Gary,
There is a hint of vanilla that goes along with a sweetness. I perfered to drink it chilled as it brought out the sweeter finish.

Derek
Derek,
I wanted something different and this did not disappoint. Very sweet and floral. The only issue I found was a lack of oils during the linger. I will be buying another bottle soon.

Jon
Jon,
Super unique, fruity with a whiskey flavour that hints at honey. Love it for a sweeter offering.

Brainerd
Brainerd,
Really rich, velvety focus on figs, honey, and smoke. It's very special.

Christopher
Christopher,
Nice smoky/spicy whiskey.

Christopher
Christopher,
Not that sweet considering what it is made of. Not terribly smooth, neither. Not bad, but not worth buying again.

Scott
Scott,
Good flavor, a little harsh/burn after it goes down. All in all a good option that I will buy again.

Patrick
Patrick,
Definitely true to its name. Like a rolling thunder in your mouth!

Wes
Wes,
Little bit sweet for my liking, but a good after-dinner drink.

Anthony
Anthony,
nose: honey, rose petals, lots of citrus primarily apricot, wood, some leather, a little apple palate: vanilla, apple, lots of spiciness, medium mouthfeel finish: a little bitter apple with sugar and honey overall: great nose, flavors on the palate were sweet and good but probably best served as a mixer in an old fashion or equivalent

Jay
Jay,
Smooth with a robust flavor. I like it !!

Doyle
Doyle,
Rich, soft bourbon, with a smooth almost sweet finish. Perfect for after dinner conversation.

Jeff
Jeff,
Very tasty, but definitely not a daily drinker. Almost a dessert whiskey, almost a rum not a whiskey. More of a novelty for your bar than a regular drinker.

Andy

B.,
Lovely in the glass, this this is a tasty treat for those overwhelmed by other whiskies. Warm, without the burn, unique taste, with a pleasant, sweet/floral/vanilla finnish.

guest,
Awesome drink for when you want to take a slight step away from a normal whiskey.

Jon
Jon,
I agree with other reviews in that it should be classified as a rum given it's honey and sugar base. There's nothing whiskey about the initial ingredients, though the aging does add a more robust aroma and mouth feel than is typical of rums.

Craig
Craig,
I call this a "rumskey". Whiskey on the front (definitely picking up the vanilla notes), fruitiness on the back-end. Smells great, very tasty.

Michael
Michael,
Amazingly tasty! The figs are in the background, but the sweetness is undeniable!!

John
John,
This is one smooth and flavorful drink, if you haven't tried it, you're missing a great experience

guest,
Hints of rum flavor & nose, plays like a whiskey. Totally unique. Sweet without being obnoxious, just the right mix of sugar, fig & honey. Love this spirit!
