Let us introduce the world's most popular spirit… No backbar is complete without the classic white rum Bacardi Carta Blanca, originally produced in Cuba - at the first distillery there was a colony of fruit bats who nested in the rafters and that's why there is a rather dramatic-looking bat on the label.
Great to mix with. Not great straight up. Need more flavors just to sip on.
It's Bacardi. The best cheap mixing rum out there.
Great for pina coldas.
great for mixing
Good, standard for mixed drinks. Not a sipping rum.
A well mixer at best
Good for mixers, not much else
great price and a great base rum for classic cocktails
Tastes good in coke and mixed with juice which gives it that versatility. Love the bat logo and Caribbean vibes.
Great for mixed drinks!
A good mixer.
Good for mixing
A bit of a harsh flavor, not smooth
Solid mixing rum
For the price and availability with sales, fantastic foundation for a lot of bar drinks.
Ethanol nose, on the palate and finish. No real other flavors come through. Mixer only for me.
VERY BASIC RUM JUST FOR MIXING
Great with a Coke and a couple limes. Standard bar fair.
I'm a fan of rum and Bacardi seems to have mastered the epitome of this flavor. The go to for any drinker, whether it's sipped with dinner or shot back at the club.
It is a delicate, White Rum that has a delicate birth; while an alcoholic life eads to a quick & dry death.
This is fine for mixing.
This is great add some pineapple
Juice and a splash of OJ and you will be in heaven and this is also great to use for Jell-O shots
Good mixer for rum and coke
Bar staple rum for batch mixed drinks. Good for larger informal gatherings, but treat yourself and your guests to something better for smaller or special occasions.
Not for anything else than in a cocktail. It's booze no more no less
Very good Rum, drinks or shots it doesn't matter. Sweet with not too much burn.
Favorite rum to mix drinks with
Only as a mixer.
My go to for cocktails. Not really an expert on rum though...
I keep this around so I can make drinks for others. Never touch it myself.
Hate this rum
It works so well in mixed drinks. It also is fairly smooth to shoot.
This is a great White Rum. Excellent in daiquiris, mojitos & Cuba Libres. When tasting it neat and comparing it to other rums, it stood up well, only Casa Magdalena matched it. It's very mild, easy going and soft. Banana and spice come thru. There is a lingering aftertaste, but doesn't burn. This is probably my favorite white rum, and the price is perfect.
Mixes great in Caribou Lou...
Mild on aroma, straight forward flavor, good for mixing
It's Bacardi what else is there to say it's an extremely good tasting fairly inexpensive and surprisingly full flavored white rum
Great in mixed drinks. Not a sipping rum.
A good, solid Rum from a commercial distillery. Nothing wrong with the taste or the finish. Sweet in the finish.
While a classic rum not one I enjoy drinking. Often have a headache after this one.
Smooth strait or as a mixer
Great for mixed drinks. I wouldn't sip this neat, but I prefer aged spirits over clear.
Smooth great flavor
My base rum
Perfumes and coconut. The alcohol is heavy on the nose and a bit rigid but it can be expected for a white rum. Somewhat of an underestimated rum.
So many better white rums
This is my baseline rum. I have been using this one to learn how to mix and has only treated me well
Nice with Diet Coke and lime cordial
What can't you do with a bottle of Bacardi? Takes to you the Islands as soon as you twist the cap.
