On the windswept Galician coast, a lonely still is raised, to bring a special Spanish Gin to your palate to be praised.

Nordés named their company after the consistent trade winds of the Atlantic that blow Eastward across the Atlantic sea onto the coasts of Galicia in Northern Spain. They are maniacal about quality and use only locally-sourced ingredients in their distilled spirits. This imparts a refreshingly unique flavor to all of their products and you feel like you can taste a little of Galicia in every sip.

A new golden age of spirits has emerged where small craft distillers bring innovation and entrepreneurial skill to the world of adult beverages. Nordés Gin is a perfect example of this. It is made from locally-grown and distilled Albariño grape spirit and infuse it with fourteen locally sourced botanicals; including hibiscus, licorice, lemon peels, and ginger.

This Gin has received universal acclaim for it’s uniquely refreshing taste and fine attention to detail. It has a bold, floral profile that seems as strong as the juniper berries. It will impress you on its first sip. Even the bottle is unique—a wide, 12-sided cylinder.

What does Nordés Atlantic Galician Gin taste like?

The Flavor Spiral™ shows the most common flavors that you'll taste in Nordés Atlantic Galician Gin and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavor Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Finola
Finola,
Perfect in a cocktail such as French 75, or other topped up with champagne/prosecco

Pierre
Pierre,
Overall very nice and refreshing gin. There is a pronounced taste of lemon which makes it perfect for a Tom Collins.

Sean
Sean,
A pleasant surprise. I enjoyed this with tonic and white grapes as suggested and it had an aftertaste of dry white wine. Tasting notes are spot on for lemon peel and juniper; it's unmistakably gin but citrus is prominent. The dry notes mean it might not work in a fruity G&T but it's worth having in your collection nonetheless.

Sehr zitronig, Zitronenverbene, wirkt fast ein bisserl pafümiert

Very nice gin, much better than many I've had with a higher price tag. I bought it again...

Sašo,
What a flavor bomb! This was a Spanish Inquisition because I did not expect that. A lot of lemon on the palate and the nose is so refreshing you’ll sprinkle it on your neck as a perfume. I’m a disciple of The Botanist, but I think I’ll accept another deity.

This is a fantastic gin. Try it with cucumber, or citruses, will provide a aromatic journey with lots of botanicals. Even beginners will taste the difference. Love it.
