All You Need Is Love and This Bottle of Whisky.

Welcome to the decade where everyone was free because everyone was running. This colorful bottle holds a groovy expression for the nostalgic folks who went through the free love Sixties or which they did. This is an annual eclectic bottle that commemorates Ardbeg Day, the last day of the decadent Islay Festival of Music and Malt. On the holiday the locals call Fèis Ìle, the distillery opens its doors to its fans as various musicians set the atmosphere.

For 2018's Special Edition, dr. Bill Lumsden (Director of Distilling and Whisky Creation) utilized a special set of casks that used to hold red wine and were rejuvenated and additionally charred before this hippie celebration Spirit was put away to age. What streamed out of those barrels is an exciting and heavily peated love potion that would make every Flower Power bohemian think twice and throw away their Buds and Coronas and worship this magnificent Whisky. Do not, however, drink and drive in your Type 2 Free Spirit Van.

What does Ardbeg Grooves Limited Edition taste like?

The Flavour Spiral™ shows the most common flavours that you'll taste in Ardbeg Grooves Limited Edition and gives you a chance to have a taste of it before actually tasting it.

We invented Flavour Spiral™ here at Flaviar to get all your senses involved in tasting drinks and, frankly, because we think that classic tasting notes are boring.

Ratings & Reviews
Navdeep
Navdeep,
Ardbeg on the nose, but the pallete is just so different. A tangy smoky like really smoky pineapple. Wonderful. A must have for peat lovers, if you can still find it.
