Jamaica's Finest.
The Appleton Estate's first known documentation of Rum production dates back to 1749, however, the origins of the Estate date back even further, to 1655 when the British captured Jamaica from the Spaniards. It's located in Nassau Valley, part of Jamaica’s World famous Cockpit Country, which is a special limestone formation known as a Cockpit Karst, and was formed over millions of years. Their Rums have a special and unique Terroir – rich and fertile.

Described as the best Jamaican Rum by more than one legendary spirits writers, this Appleton Estate 12 is a blend of Rums aged between 12 and 18 years to create a well balanced Rum and thoroughly enjoyable, not to mention highly drinkable! Might as well order your second bottle now too... you won't regret it.

Donielle
Donielle,
Had the pleasure of taking the tour in Jamaica. Like our guide said, the bottle has curves and is sexy, so it doesn't need any Pepsi. Definitely a sipping rum!

Derrel
Derrel,
Like it. Not much of a rum drinker but keep it for friends who drink rum.

Andrew
Andrew,
I'm not all that interested in rums. Unless it's Appleton Estate and then I'm all over it.

Mark
Mark,
Found a glass of this with a large rock quite difficult to finish. Did not enjoy.

Not to sweet, very delicious!

anonymous,
I'll need to revisit. I wasn't loving it. The accolades demand another try or two.

Max
Max,
Deep and rich with a notably beautiful aroma. Sometimes I just grab the bottle for a pleasant whiff. If I could change anything, it would be a tiny bit softer.
