Pure Kentucky bred Bourbon. It’s practically the stuff of legends.

And there are some fantastic Kentucky Bourbons out there, to be sure. But truth is, they’re getting harder to find. Prime example: any limited edition from Angel's Envy. Simply put, it’s a great distillery with a loyal following. There’s some stiff competition when trying to score a rare bottle.

And this one right here? It’s uncut, unfiltered and raw. As if that weren’t enough, it’s finished in Port Wine barrels. Angel's Envy Cask Strength is worth a wee bit of strong armin’.

Vin
Vin,
Absolutely my favorite whiskey, hands down. I tell anyone that as gorgeous as the wings look through the bourbon, the flavor is even better. Every sip is so smooth, and I've had nuanced changes that have gone from a nice wine, to cream soda. At around $60, you won't get a better bang for your buck. Buy and buy again, you won't regret this, or any of Angel's Envy's products.

guest,
Very complex taste, port and caramel at the front, followed by rye and cinnamon-raisin flavors. Mellowed out with a little water added with vanilla and oak flavors coming out a little more. One of my favorite bourbons.

guest,
If you enjoy the dark fruit notes in Port or Cab finished bourbons this is a can’t miss. Black Cherry and blackberry very big on the front end. I like Jefferson’s Pritchard Hill Cab finished too. But Angels Envy is about $30 less than Jefferson’s PHCF so it’s a go to and it’s an easy pour for your friends who aren’t real bourbon lovers or who want to drink it on ice.

Brian
Brian,
Smooth and palate pleasing, great bourbon for starters the port cask rounds the spirit and calms any edges of a typical whiskey. The sweetness of the corn blend and cask can become redundant but it’s hard not to love.

Tonia
Tonia,
This is my favorite/go-to bourbon. It's very smooth with a sweetness from the 2nd casking that is not overbearing. I've introduced this to others who think I'm some sort of sorceress, able to conjure up great tasting yet little known (to them, anyway) spirits.

Emmy,
First tasting of my bottle was very light on flavor, almost watery. Smooth to be sure, the flavors come through only slightly. Definitely did not live up to the hype. Second tasting was better but still kinda just meh. Maybe this will improve as my taste becomes more refined.
Emmy
Emmy,
Sorry, this was supposed to be for the regular Angel's Envy Bourbon. Please disregard.

Lewis
Lewis,
Utter masterpiece. Somehow balanced even at almost 125 proof. The port cask and the bourbon sweetness meld perfectly with the alcohol burn into an utterly original dram that you won't find anything like anywhere else in the world. Maybe my favorite bourbon ever.
