Emma,
Nice and smokey
Alipus San Juan del Rio Mezcal
Ryan,
Very clean smell with slight hint of smoke, nice tangy taste, a lot of similarities to top reposado tequilas, super clean blue agave flavor with only a faint hint of smoke. Wow....
Alipus San Juan del Rio Mezcal

Alipus Mezcal Santa Ana del Rio

This is a very good mezcal to me. Had an abundance of smokiness with some other flavors in the background. Pleasant
Alipus San Andres Mezcal

Super rich tequila but not a fan of mezcal tequilas. A nice tequila otherwise.

Mark,
Taste like licking charcoal covered in lighter fluid. Didn’t finish the sample bottle. Flavor wheel doesn’t reflect the Smoke heavy nature.
Alipus Mezcal Santa Ana del Rio

And outstanding Mezcal . Have already re-ordered
Alipus San Andres Mezcal
Greg,
A bit heavy on the smoke for my taste
Alipus San Andres Mezcal
Edoardo,
Not a typical Mexican mezcal: the smoky accent is smoother than alternatives and the fruity background comes persistent as finish. Seems more a good tequila
Alipus San Andres Mezcal
marlynn,
The nose has heat and floral. Taste is heat forward. Very Earthy, smoky, followed by fruit and agave. Lingering Earthy, smoke, and charcoal.
Alipus San Juan del Rio Mezcal

Approachable mezcal that still has some smoke. Easy drinking and great for Palomas or Mules.
Alipus San Juan del Rio Mezcal
Ryan,
Enjoyed this. Smokey, earthy tones predominate.
Alipus San Andres Mezcal
Bruce,
Intense fruit and spice on the nose. Complex herbs, oak and smoke in the tongue with a long finish, slightly sour.
Alipus San Andres Mezcal
Manny,
Smoky and smooth
Alipus San Andres Mezcal
John,
It’s missing that real smokiness you look for in a mezcal but it’s a perfect blend of tequila & mezcal with a lot of emphasis on agave. Very drinkable

Sara,
Great flavor!

Gorgeous tipple! Went in a breeze, far too dangerous to have around as a matter of fact.

Alipus Mezcal Joven - San Andres
Antti,
It is a very good rich & surprisingly wood-y joven Mezcal with a floral birth; while a fruity & woody life; leads to a long & complex death.

Regan,
Call me a philistine if you will, but honestly the first thing that came to mind was burning bicycle tires. No idea as to the attraction. Also dislike peaty scotches, so there you go.

Nose : Model glue at first but then opens to a "smoky" sweet campfire roasted banana with a sweet agave finish. Lots of flavour! Taste: Rich papaya, banana, vegetal with a hint of roasting chili peppers Really enjoyed it.
Alipus San Juan del Rio Mezcal
Mike,
One of the better, smokier mezcals I've tried.
Alipus San Andres Mezcal

Barry,
Smokiness not overbearing, sweet notes but a bit of a burn on the back end and a tiny bit bitter
Alipus San Juan del Rio Mezcal
James,
The Peat and Smoke really hit you, not in a smooth way. Then Pepper and Beer/Hops dry out your mouth. Got very little of a sweetness or fruit in tasting.
