Alexander Murray Ardmore 9 Year Old 2008
Brandon,
It might have been the smokiness, which I typically don’t mind, but I got hints of rubber in this one.

Amy,
I really liked the caramel flavor on this one. It can stand on its own, however I think it would be really good in mixed drinks. I think it would be good for someone who is new to Scotch.
Alexander Murray Mannochmore 14 Year Old 2004
Christopher,
Tasty. Enjoyable. I like it and would drink it again.
Alexander Murray Macduff 14 Year Old 2003
Christopher,
This was a beautiful experience.
Alexander Murray The Dalmore 15 Year Old 1999
Antti,
It is an intense, Single Malt Scotch Whisky that has an aromatic birth; while a dry & woody life leads to a long & bold finish with notes of cigar box, spice, over spiced Christmas cake & tongue surpressor.
Alexander Murray Glen Moray 12 Year Old 2002
Antti,
It is a very good, rich, Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky that has an aromatic birth; while a rich & creamy life leads to a long & spicy death with notes of citrus & vanilla.
Alexander Murray Ardmore 9 Year Old 2008
Antti,
It is an outstanding, elegant, Single Malt Scotch Whisky that has an aromatic birth; while a complex life leads to a long & smoky death with notes of fire, tobacco & leather.

Bradley,
I normally don’t care much for peaty scotch, but this one was not overdone and was surprisingly smooth. Alexander Murray makes some real good Scotch and I prefer some of the others, but still this one is better than expected.

JOSH,
Surprisingly good! The smokey flavor brought back memories of campfires! I'll definitely be adding this to my bar!

Rated it lower than the 9 yr old Ardmore, not smoky but enjoyed the butterscotch and vanilla.

delicious blend of spices up front. juniper. a bit of tobacco.
Alexander Murray The Macallan 20 Year Old 1997
Ari,
I expected smoother from a 20-year. Still requires ice to drink.
Alexander Murray Benrinnes 23 Year Old 1995
Antti,
It is a very good, balanced, 1995 vintage Single Malt Scotch Whisky that has an aromatic birth: while a delicate life leads to a long & delicate death with hints of herbs, blossoms & oak.
Alexander Murray Bon Accord
Thomas,
Light, sweet, with spice on the back end. Not overly complex, but easy to drink.
Alexander Murray Glenlossie 19 Year Old 1997
Gary,

It is a very good, complex, Cask Strength Single Malt Scotch Whisky that has an aromatic birth; while a rich & complex life leads to a long & oily death.
Alexander Murray Glen Moray 12 Year Old 2002
Michael,
Tasting the Glen Moray. Straight had a kick, but now with some ice smooth and satisfying. Not smoky like the 9 year old Ardmore, vanilla flavor.
Alexander Murray Macduff 14 Year Old 2003
Ryan,
Smooth, a bit buttery. Hint of tropical/citrus fruit? Enjoyable.
Alexander Murray Mannochmore 14 Year Old 2004

Michael,
My first taste of scotch, so I'm giving it an eight but might adjust that later after trying more. Smoky in the beginning, started the tasting neat, but then on the rocks brought out the Vanilla and caramel. Finished with some Coke and tasted some spicy fruity flavors.

Thomas,
We love Flaviar! My first 3-dram sampling was the Alexander Murray. This last sample wasn't bad. But on the flavor profile, I'm afraid Flaviar is going to have to reprint their circular insert. Anyone that doesn't immediately pull pine from the start is following the masses and not their senses. Nonetheless, I loved every minute of this trio sampling. Looking forward to the next one soon.
Alexander Murray Glenlossie 19 Year Old 1997
Matthew,

Kimberly,
Just so so.

John,
This is my first time having scotch of this style and I really enjoyed it. Of the three in the tasting box this was the best. Someone else described it as cherry on top of a chocolate moose cake and it’s really does have those flavors. I will be buying a bottle.

Jarrett,
This was a good one, it was Smokey up front but right under it was the sweet speyside flavors
Alexander Murray Glenlossie 19 Year Old 1997

Alexander Murray The Dalmore 15 Year Old 1999
Evan,
I got some pine and juniper. Not a fan.
Alexander Murray Glen Moray 12 Year Old 2002
David,
Better than the 15, but I still prefer the 9.
Alexander Murray The Dalmore 15 Year Old 1999
David,
Strange taste. Came as a tasting of the 9, 12, and 15 year. I preferred them in reverse order: 9, then 12, then 15.
Alexander Murray Glen Moray 12 Year Old 2002
Scott,
Heavy caramel/butterscotch
Alexander Murray Bon Accord
Blaine,
Overall very bland. Not much on the nose. Flavors were very basic. Curious which highland distillery it came from so I don’t visit it next time I go to Scotland.
Alexander Murray Miltonduff 17 Year Old 2001
Thomas,
A little pepperminty on the finish. Overall, very nice.
Alexander Murray Ardmore 9 Year Old 2008
David,
Too smoky... not my cup of tea.
Alexander Murray Ardmore 9 Year Old 2008
Ian,
Perhaps it is my bias for smoky whiskys, but out of the 9 year old, 12 year, and 15 year, the 9 year was my favorite. It had little bite, and had a delicious smoky aftertaste.
Alexander Murray Glenlossie 19 Year Old 1997
Kyle,
Smooth, plenty of flavor, and wonderful nose appeal.
Alexander Murray Ardmore 9 Year Old 2008
David,
Too smoky for my tastes...
Alexander Murray Bon Accord
Greg,
Great flavor profile. For not being highly rated, I was quite pleased. Not spectacular but generally pleasing. I actually think you may like it.
Alexander Murray Glen Moray 12 Year Old 2002
Eli,
Apple and banana, butterscotch and vanilla
Alexander Murray Ardmore 9 Year Old 2008
Eli,
Sweet, lightly floral, underlying peat, heat on the finish. A bit boring but not bad
Alexander Murray Laphroaig 12 Year Old
Lawrence,
Smoke and peat hit you immediately. Spice and a hint of sweet lingers
