Burke
Burke,
Smell was sweet but the taste was similar to a scotch. Very peaty. Not my favorite.

Bill
Bill,
Not as harsh as some rums. Smooth, feels warm and goes down nice. Might try a bottle.

Joseph
Joseph,
Pretty funky. Almost like peated scotch and tequila blend. Not my favorite

Kyle

Brian
Brian,
The aroma upon opening was subtle but intriguing. Started off sweet but spice definitely kicked in and lingered. Ultimately was pretty tasty but generic for my liking.

Antti
Antti,
It is a good, Amber Rum that has an aromatic birth; while a rich & spicy life leads to a delicate death with notes of pecan, walnut & nutmeg.

ryan
ryan,
in my opinion best of the three in the american revaluation box still not fantastic but has a very smooth alcohol flavor. the over all flavor could have been better in my opinion. more like a scotch then a rum.

Eric
Eric,
Heavy butterscotch nose. Tasted more like a whiskey than a rum. Others may like it, but wasn't for me.

Stacey
Stacey,
Not too sweet, but oh so buttery.

Robert
Robert,
After you get past the perfume taste, the vanilla is nice

John
John,
Really not my kind of rum. As others have noted, it seemed more like a scotch than a rum. Not awful, just not for me.

Rebecca
Rebecca,
Vanilla and sweet finish.

Paul
Paul,
So not like rum let alone a good rum that I thought I was drinking scotch. No thanks - great butterscotch nose tho

Angela
Angela,
Turpentine-ish nose, not good at all

Jamie
Jamie,
Good spice. Similar to woodford reserve if you’re a bourbon person.

Alice
Alice,
Tasted more like scotch than rum; really butterscotch-y nose, but peaty, medicated band-aid taste. Once I got past my assumptions on what rum should taste like, it was fine, but not really my thing.

Jeffrey
Jeffrey,
My wife liked it but to me it was like cough syrup. Didn’t take to this rum at all
