Infused with the essence of the untamed Tahoe backcountry.

From the heart of the Sierra Nevada mountains and the depths of Lake Tahoe's pristine waters emerges 72 Mile Spirits, a small-batch distillery that crafts some delicious liquids with a mountainous soul. They pour their heart into every bottle, using only top-notch ingredients and the purest Lake Tahoe water. Their moniker comes from the 72 Mile scenic drive around the lake, hailed as one of America's most jaw-dropping journeys. And what grander finale to a day soaked with all the breathtaking views than pouring yourself a Cocktail adorned with the smooth embrace of their 72 Spirits?

This delicious Backcountry Gin is concocted from a 100% corn distillate and infused with the daring essence of juniper, coriander, caraway, bitter almond, and angelica root botanicals. Non chill-filtered to maintain its authentic character and proofed with the pristine waters of Lake Tahoe, its aroma whisks you away to the untamed allure of Tahoe's backcountry, unveiling juniper-forward notes harmoniously mingling with hints of citrus and coriander. Juniper also takes the lead on the palate, embellished by delightful nuances of orange and citrus that linger until the finish. For an unforgettable experience, blend it into a 72 Mile G&T, complemented by a twist of zesty orange.

How much Tonic is in a Gin & Tonic? The ideal proportions for a perfect Gin & Tonic is one part Gin and two parts Tonic.
Classifications of Gin: London Dry Gin, Plymouth Gin, Old Tom Gin, Genever or Dutch, New Western or new American or International style.
As with many other Spirits, Gin was originally intended to be used as a medicine—to battle malaria.
While juniper-heavy Gin is perfect for your daily G&T, it is also complemented extremely well by tea flavours such as Earl Grey. Try steeping Earl Grey tea bags in Gin for an hour before mixing it with lemon juice and soda for a refreshing tipple. This one gets you additional kudos, so let’s keep it between us.
London Dry Gin is not always from London. Gin does not have the same geographical restrictions as Spirits such as Cognac, Scotch, or Tequila. Only a tiny handful of London Dry Gins are actually made in the city.
It’s a common myth that Gin is a tear-jerker. Of course, drinking too much of it will make you feel awful the next day, but that’s the same with any alcohol.
