6 O’clock Gin is named after the time in the day when the producer’s family deemed it socially acceptable to have a drink – although if you ask us, lunchtime is just fine, too. A London Dry Gin, the recipe took over two years in the making, from a family used to making Liqueurs.
Produced by Bramley & Gage, the Gin is made in a 200l copper pot still named Kathleen, the distillate is cut with Tarka Springs water from North Devon; the least mineral heavy water – and arguable the purest – in the UK.
6 O’clock Gin is a juniper-led Gin which also features coriander, angelica, orris, winter savory, orange peel and elderflower. Best served in a G&T with a slice of lemon, the juniper and elderflower lead the way here.
