For the money, this is a great bourbon, a go to when hanging out with friends and pairs great with a cigar!
Flavorful, smooth and best on the rock or with a splash of water as it unlocks the flavors to truly enjoy the flavor spiral descriptors. A wonderful after dinner addition.
strong but smooth
Intense flavor. Takes breath away. Need to sip this one.
M&M #5527 - Pecans and mild apple cinnamon. Pears. Light body. Dry finish
Smoky with hints of caramel and cinnamon. Spicy and very smooth for a barrel proof. One of my favorites by far!!
Best dollar for dollar bourbon in my opinion. Great with an ice cube and a splash. Sipping without burn
It may be due to my bottle being a local store pick, but I found this to be heavy vanilla and caramel. Currently one of my favorite value buys compared to other harder to find bottles.
Picked up a couple of local store picks and they are above average and currently one of those not ridiculously priced.
Wanted to try it due to the flavor spiral matches up with my other brands in my bar. I didn't really get the smoky part in tasting and it wasn't as smooth as I thought it might be. Overall, it is OK but not for sure I would purchase again.
This is very smooth for the proof. So far it is my favorite. Great taste with a great finish.
A little hot but very good flavor and I think it drinks just as good as the EC barrel proof, holds up well to ice or water and makes it very enjoyable
Nice bourbon for proof hounds. Classic bourbon nose and flavors. Occasionally I'll drop the proof down to around 100-105 for an really nice evening / dessert pour.
Some good characteristics but a medicinal note stands out
Smokey and clove taste with a hint of caramel
If you like high proof bourbon it’s pretty good. Very hot on the pallet. Have had better at the price, will buy again, but probably won’t spend over 50
Woody vanilla taste, hot on the palate. Pretty good. Shouldn't be over $50 ever
I like this bourbon and it is pretty good for the retail price of about $45 but anything above $60 is serious price gouging. I can buy it all around for $42-45 locally and at many other online retailers.
Real smooth and love the finish!
Not impressed at all!
Very good. Stands up to ice. Vanilla and spice (alcohol).
Really liked it for 45 bucks 3 months ago. Now 3x price :(
Vanilla, maple, caramel nose, powerful but smooth, long lasting finish
The usual bourbon notes in spades. Also I pick up a tobacco taste in the finish. Unique. I haven't had that before!
Smooth with a cube of ice. Just a touch or two will start your night out on a good note of a well charred barrel.
Made the mistake of trying this against Elijah Craig bp c919.
Definitely a great pour
Really rally good... this bourbon is a good sipping bourbon full of flavor. Super smooth to the palate.. toasted Carmel smell, vinalla, oak, I would definitely buy again...
Full flavor bourbon at high strength.
I found this much cheaper local and I'm glad I did, I really enjoy this as an every day drink. Full taste, warm going down with nice vanilla and caramel flavors. My current favorite under $100.00
Overrated, but decent. Complex, but really hot, definitely needs ice. Not an every day sipper for me. I can buy it for $45 all day any day though at any of the liquor stores in town... too pricey here.
I've enjoyed 1792 FP since it was on my "New Favorites" List. Now a permanent bottle in my bar. Great nose and smooth drink.
Complex Bourbon aroma/flavors to the second power! Decent alcohol burn, but once past this it can become a real comfortable regular. Great price for such an amazing product.
Decent bourbon. I believe it's a bit over-rated, but not a bad one to have in your bar.
Very good bourbon, but need water.
I get some sweet & salty taste from this, with a bit of bitter aftertaste.
7.5 Over hyped. Straight forward bourbon, very floral. Store picks are the way to go with this one.
